Monkey.D.Luffy [Alt Art Manga]

This one does not look like a card. It looks like a page torn out of the manga: black ink, screentone, Gear 5 Luffy drawn the way Oda draws him rather than the way card art usually softens him. Purple, ten cost, twelve thousand power. Play it and you can send every other character you own to the bottom of your deck, and in exchange you take a second turn. Give up everything for one more swing. There is no card in the game that reads more like its own character. The regular alternate art sits around a hundred dollars. This one, the manga version, goes for fourteen hundred, and a perfect graded copy has been listed at seven thousand. On a bank card the black ink does the work. No holo needed.
